joined School of Computer Science and Engineering, Sungshin Women's University in 1995. He received the B.S.E., M.S.E. and Ph.D. degrees in computer engineering from Department of Computer Engineering , Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1986, 1988 and 1994, respectively. He joined the natural language processing projects with IBM Korea, IBM Japan and IBM Bethesda and developed KSHALT, an English-Korean machine translation system. His research interests include machine learning, statistic linguistics, morphological analysis, syntactic analysis, morphological generation, machine translation and dictionary construction.
